Personal Details

Hi, I’m Robert Kohn. I am Computer Scientist with more than ten years experience in semiconductor manufacturing. Since 2017 I am involved in various topics in the area of WIP Flow Optimization, Fab Simulation and ML Solutions at Robert Bosch GmbH in Reutlingen. I hold a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Applied Sciences Stralsund, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich. Beyond the basics of or as part of Industrial Engineering, my interests especially include Artifical Intelligence and its applications in industry. I believe that simulation systems combined with methods from Machine Learning and Operations Research will drive future improvements as never before.
